Harlaxton Manor – Renovation of 1000sqm Antique Oak Flooring
Located in Nottinghamshire, Harlaxton Manor is one of the UK’s premier
country manor houses. Our brief was to sensitively refinish a large area of
original oak flooring, returning the oak floors to their original look as
well as providing a durable and easy to maintain finish. The floors went
through multiple stages of cutting, polishing and buffing before being
sealed with Saicos Immediate Cure UV Hardwax Oil.
Cashes Green Primary School, Stroud – Installation
of 250sqm Oak Parquet Flooring
We were invited to reinstate the school’s main activity hall parquet floor
which was damaged. We chose to install a new oak parquet floor in double
herringbone with an entrance motif. Initially, we removed the old parquet
before laying a DPM and new levelling compound. We were then able to
commence the fit, cut and polish the blocks before sealing with a commercial
Nano Technology High Traffic Polyurethane.
